Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple grain handling facilities in Idaho.  This position will plan, direct, and coordinate operations in support of the company’s growth. They will focus on strategic planning, goal-setting, and direct the operations of the company to supports its goals.

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the Director of Safety to implement strategies to decrease incidents through effective leadership and enhanced training.
  • Strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency through the company’s operations.
  • Develop operational goals for each operating company which are aggressive, yet obtainable and tie to long-term goals of the company.
  • Monitor performance against performance goals to ensure progress is being made.
  • Identify opportunities and areas for improvement within each location.
  • Ensure continued development of teams through communication, performance management, development plans, and timing.
  • Develop capital project strategy. Oversee evaluation, prioritization and execution of capital projects.
  • Provide technical and engineering support and direction.
  • Ensure operational compliance with quality, food safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support for business development opportunities.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Ten plus years of experience in Grain Operations required
