 We are a leading global supplier to the Corrosion Control Industry with offices in the US, Australia, New Zealand and the UK. We are a fast growth firm, with an incredible year on year growth rate.
 We supply and install large industrial facilities such as Abrasive Blasting Booths, Spray Painting Booths, Automated Powdercoating lines, Dust Collectors, etc.
 We are looking to hire a Business Development Representative, based out of our new world class stunning Columbus, Ohio corporate office to work as part of a dynamic sales team.

The Role

The role of the Business Development Representative is defined as:
  • Managing the early stages of equipment opportunities until they are qualified
  • Prospecting pre-selected company lists on the phone – minimum 150 calls per day required
  • Finding the right contacts at the companies by phone calls and scouring LinkedIn
  • Confirming that the company is a good fit for our products and has need of our products
  • Sending preliminary information to the prospect
  • Qualified opportunities generated are passed along to a Senior Inside Sales person to take to the next step. 
 Required Skills/Qualifications
  • Love to work in an office environment
  • Love to telephone sales work
  • Passionate about customer service
  • Experience in talking to customers
  • Organizational skills
  • Solid grasp of basic computer systems - Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel, CRM, etc.
  • Excellent attention to detail. The detail matters! If we can't get the small things right, we'll never hope to get the big things right!
  • Brilliant task and time management skills. You always complete your assigned tasks on time, every time!
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
  • Fluent in use of salesforce.com CRM system
  • Ability to write technical sales letters
  • Understanding of Corrosion Control Industry
  • Willingness to take on other people’s problems
